ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad district and session court has mandated the appearance of PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi on the 4th of April.

During a session presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra, the court heard bail applications and subsequently issued orders for the production of the PTI founder and his wife.

PTI's legal representative, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhary, stood before the court which then directed the Adiala Jail superintendent to ensure Imran

Khan's presence on the specified date.

Previously, the same court had exonerated the PTI leader in two separate cases of vandalism that were lodged during the party's march in Islamabad.

Furthermore, the Islamabad High Court has instructed the jail officials to facilitate virtual meetings between the ex-prime minister and his legal counsel until the prevailing security concerns are resolved. This directive comes after the lawyer reported difficulties in meeting with Khan due to these issues.

The High Court has tasked the jail authorities with arranging the necessary technology to enable uninterrupted online discussions for the former prime minister.

Currently, the ex-prime minister is dealing with over a hundred legal cases post his removal from office and is detained in Adiala Jail on various charges, including those related to cipher, asset misappropriation, and unlawful marriage proceedings.
