During Punjab's Katcha Operation, 55 Bandits Yield to Police Custody

In a significant crackdown, the Punjab police successfully executed an extensive operation against bandits in the Katcha area of Rojhan city.

District Police Officer Dost Mohammad reported the surrender of 55 bandits linked to the Bannu and Fayyaz Dulani gangs during this operation.

The operation led to the dismantling of numerous bandit hideouts in the Katcha area, marking a substantial victory for the Rojhan city police.

In a related effort last week, a combine

d force of Sindh Rangers and police apprehended 21 individuals suspected of engaging in a variety of criminal acts within the Katcha region.

The spokesperson for the Sindh Rangers disclosed that the detainees were implicated in several serious offenses, including murder, attempted murder, theft, and abduction for ransom.

Among the crimes attributed to the arrested individuals was the murder of a teacher, after which they were transferred into police custody for judicial proceedings.

The gang, as per the Rangers' reports, has been actively involved in unlawful activities across multiple areas, including Kashmore, Tangwani, and Kandhkot.
