PKR Continues to Strengthen Against USD

In Karachi, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) saw a marginal appreciation against the US dollar in the interbank market, inching up by 03 paisa, as reported by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Wednesday. 

The US dollar concluded the day at Rs278.04, slightly down from the previous day's finish of Rs278.07. Meanwhile, the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP) noted that the open market buying and selling rates for the dollar were Rs278.5 and Rs281.25, respectively.

ro's value dipped by 47 paisa, closing at Rs300.97, as per SBP's latest figures, down from Rs301.44 the day before. 

The Japanese Yen's exchange rate remained stable at Rs1.83. The British Pound experienced a 76 paisa drop, trading at Rs350.99 against the prior close of Rs351.75. 

Additionally, both the Emirates Dirham and the Saudi Riyal saw a nominal decrease of 01 paisa, settling at Rs75.71 and Rs74.13, respectively.
