The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has decided to introduce free WiFi services in public parks across Peshawar.

During a meeting focusing on the beautification of the provincial capital, CM Gandapur instructed relevant authorities to finalize plans for free WiFi service, to be presented for approval by the provincial government.

He emphasized that this service would eventually expand to other cities in subsequent ph

ases. Additionally, the Peshawar Development Authority was directed to devise a beautification plan for the city.

To enhance transportation, the meeting resolved to launch a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service on Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar. CM Gandapur also advocated for the conversion of street lights to solar power and the construction of underpasses over overhead bridges.

Immediate actions were ordered for the completion of the remaining segment of Warsak-Nasir Bagh Road, along with repairs to the road surrounding the BRT Corridor at University Road.

Plans were made to adorn pathways with artificial plants, and to decorate walls and head bridges with cultural designs, promoting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's heritage. The CM urged collaboration with private organizations to achieve these goals.
