Users will soon be able to access computers using their email addresses thanks to a new feature being tested by WhatsApp, an app owned by Meta.

The messaging platform will continue to function normally even with the alternate logging-in method, thanks to the new feature that lets users add their email addresses to the application on iOS and Android devices.

Currently, WhatsApp users can access their accounts by entering the one-time passcode (OTP) they received on their ph

one. However, users who frequently travel and do not have a roaming mobile plan encounter difficulties when trying to access their WhatsApp accounts.

To address this issue, WhatsApp, an app owned by Meta, is currently testing a new email login function that enables users to use their email address to log into their computer from anywhere in the world.

An alternate way for users to log into their accounts on WhatsApp's beta for iOS 2.23.23.77 and Android 2.23.24.10 is to enter and validate their email address in the Meta-run messaging service.

Additionally, users are notified that their email will be kept private and hidden from other users.
