Deserving people receive Eid packages from the KP cabinet

In a groundbreaking move, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet has given its nod to an Eid package aimed at extending a helping hand to the deserving populace of the province, providing them with ten thousand rupees in cash. Additionally, an allocation of Rs 7.6 billion has been greenlit for the procurement of vehicles and security apparatus for the Police force in the merged districts.

Under the stewardship of provincial Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, today's cabinet session in Pe

shawar witnessed a series of pivotal decisions.

Among the notable agreements reached, the cabinet has sanctioned a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Information Technology Board and a Special Technology Zone Authority, setting the stage for the establishment of Pakistan Digital City.

Consensus was achieved on the regulatory framework concerning the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer and Members of the Executive Committee of the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization.

Chief Minister Gandapur underscored the government's unwavering commitment to restoring law and order in the province, deeming it a cornerstone of progress. 

He announced the imminent rollout of a comprehensive strategy aimed at this objective, stressing the pivotal role of a conducive law and order environment in fostering development. He also pledged to prioritize the safety and well-being of law enforcement personnel through forthcoming initiatives.

In a bid to enhance healthcare accessibility, Chief Minister Gandapur announced the reinstatement of the 'health-card' facility, affirming the government's dedication to improving treatment services at public hospitals. He envisioned a future where the public would not need to resort to private healthcare facilities, as all essential services would be readily available in public institutions.
