Hajj 2024: Applications Begin To Arrive In Banks

On Monday, the selected bank offices will start taking applications for the Hajj 2024.

The ministry declared that until December 12, applications for the government's Hajj program would be accepted at 15 branches of certain banks throughout the nation.

Up to 197,201 Pakistanis are anticipated to go to Mecca for the Hajj in the forthcoming year. The hajj costs have already been reduced by Rs 100,000 by the government.

For the first time, women will be able to travel on the holy path without the customary male partner, signifying a gradual change in how this religious duty is approached.

Prior to this, Dr. Aneeq Ahmed, Pakistan's Minister of Religious Affairs, stated that private Hajj operators hold half of the country's Hajj quota.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs will supervise these companies in order to ensure pilgrims' safety, and the ministry will bear responsibility for any problems encountered by those doing the Hajj via private companies.

Dr. Ahmed also emphasized the dedication to improving pilgrimage amenities by pointing out the ongoing renovations being done at the Haji Camp Karachi facility.
