Last week, the renowned K-pop artist Daud Kim took to Instagram to share an inspiring milestone with his followers: the acquisition of land in Incheon, South Korea, for the construction of a new mosque.

Standing on the vacant plot, under the vast expanse of a clear blue sky, Kim held up the land contract for all to see. Dressed simply in a black jacket, loose-fitting pants, and a white T-shirt, he announced, "With your support, I've secured this land for a Masjid in Incheon

. This space will transform into a mosque. It's hard to believe we've reached this moment... My vision is to create not just a place of prayer but also an Islamic podcast studio to spread Da'wah to Koreans."

Kim expressed his desire to increase the number of Muslim places of worship throughout South Korea. Despite recognizing the ambitious nature of his project, he remained optimistic, envisioning a future where the call to prayer resonates through the streets.

At the conclusion of his post, Kim reached out to his community for financial contributions to bring this vision to life, providing details for donations via PayPal and bank transfers.

Known also as Jay Kim, Daud Kim is a multifaceted talent in South Korea, making waves as a singer, actor, and YouTube personality. His spiritual journey gained public attention when he documented his conversion to Islam and subsequent pilgrimage, Umrah, on his YouTube channel in 2019.

In a country where Muslims constitute a small fraction of the populace, primarily comprising international students and workers, Kim's initiative marks a significant step towards enriching the Muslim infrastructure in South Korea.
