The rupee continues to recover against the USD

KARACHI: On Wednesday, the Pakistani rupee kept strengthening in the interbank market versus the US dollar.

In the interbank market, the PKR gained Re0.12 and ended at Rs285.39. According to FX brokers, the local currency was trading at Rs286.50 on the open market.

The rupee ended Friday's trading day at 285.52 versus the US dollar.

g its bullish run.

The trade volume of the KSE-100 index grew by 601 points, closing at 60,730 at the previous closure at 10:20 am and trading at 61,331.

In comparison to the previous day, when 657,580,760 shares worth Rs 20.272 billion were traded, a total of 779,671,060 shares valued at Rs 26.138 billion were traded throughout the day.
