During the hearing of the bail application, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed granted interim bail to Chaudhry, preventing the police from arresting him until April 20. The court also requested case records from the police for the next hearing. Chaudhry had applied for bail in cases registered with Gulberg, Naseerabad, and Model Town police stations.

Speaking to reporters outside the court, Chaudhry remarked that every individual in Pakistan is susceptible to arrest at any moment. He expressed confidence in his release, citing previous instances, and expressed faith in divine intervention.
