Inclement weather may disrupt the anticipated five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand, with forecasts predicting thunderstorms and rainfall in Rawalpindi. The adverse conditions are expected to persist throughout the week, potentially affecting the remaining two matches scheduled to be held in Lahore.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued warnings for rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms across various regions of Pakistan, including KP, Gilgit-Baltis

tan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, Balochistan, and upper/southwest Sindh on April 18. Additionally, rain is forecasted in KP, the federal capital, Punjab, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan on April 20.

Despite the weather uncertainties, the New Zealand team has arrived in Islamabad for the exciting T20I series, which kicks off with the first match in Rawalpindi on April 18. The schedule for the series includes matches in Rawalpindi on April 20 and 21, followed by two matches in Lahore on April 25 and 27.
