ISLAMABAD - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday. Shehbaz Sharif extended a warm welcome to the Saudi delegation, led by Prince Faisal bin Farhan, at the Prime Minister House, according to sources.

During the meeting, several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were expected to be signed, and discussions were to be held regarding Saudi investment in Pakistan.

ister was scheduled to meet with the apex committee of the Saudi-Pakistan Investment Facilitation Center (SIFC) to finalize investment projects.

The Saudi delegation, on a two-day visit to Pakistan, was also set to meet with the army chief.

The delegation comprises the Saudi Minister for Water and Agriculture, the Minister for Industry and Mineral Resources, the Deputy Minister for Investment, the Head of the Saudi Special Committee, and senior officials from the Ministry of Energy and the Saudi Fund for General Investments.

The visit underscores the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, characterized by religious and cultural affinities.
